The Grand Dishes Project
The Grand Dishes Project celebrates the time-perfected dishes of the world's grandmothers.
Conceived by journalist Anastasia Miari and creative director Iska Lupton, whose Greek and German grandmothers (of great wit and wisdom) inspired the project, Grand Dishes is dedicated to capturing the stories and recipes that risk being lost forever.
Together the Grand Dishes team has created films for Nowness, curated menus for events and captured food photography for brands.
The Grand Dishes book is being crowdfunded with award-winning publisher Unbound, with 10% of the book's profits going to the Campaign to End Loneliness, a charity that shares our positive perspective on later life.
It's not about what it's like to be old. It's about what it's like to have lived.
